This case raises the question of whether a court can grant equitable exceptions to the mandatory, 14-day deadline to appeal the denial of an order granting or denying class-action certification. For a more detailed description of the case, click here. John Hueston will moot the case before several UCI Law professors. Mr. Hueston is a prominent Orange County attorney; he represents Nutraceutical. He will argue the case before the U.S. Supreme Court on November 27. Mr. Hueston graduated from magna cum laude from Dartmouth and earned his J.D. from Yale Law School. Please RSVP here to ensure accurate catering count.
